This year we sent out Mother's Day cards to all of our clients that we knew were mothers. The goodwill that was created with our clients was incredible. None of competitors, and nobody else that I know of, sent out Mother's Day cards.

Great idea, I bet that was a hit. Obviously anything out of the norm grabs attention and that probably hit the bulls-eye.

Our sales people record hobbies and interests of clients and prospects whenever they could. Our Marketing Department, segments prospects and clients based on past sales history and opportunities size. They then send related small $20 gifts to those on the list. If you are a Golfer, you might receive Golf Balls with our logo on it.
