Re: Don’t Impersonalize the Personal (Part 1)

The nickname idea is a good one, but can raise a data quality issue if the field is blank for people who's formal name and nickname are the same.
An idea that can help prevent this from happening is when creating the record in the first place, default the nickname field to the firstname...user's can then overwrite it.
